Meet The Founder

Argel Sabillo is the Founder and CEO of DTLACPA. He brings 16 years of combined accounting and tax experience, including six years at Deloitte and eight years building and operating DTLACPA.

Argel founded DTLACPA to provide growing businesses with the quality and experience associated with larger accounting firms while delivering a more personal, responsive, and technology-enabled client experience.

He is actively involved in the accounting profession through volunteer service with AICPA initiatives, including EPIC and the PCPS Executive Committee. His work focuses on the future of smaller accounting firms and how practitioners can use technology and AI to provide more proactive client service.

Argel is also the Co-Founder and CEO of HeyApril, a separate technology company developing proactive tax intelligence for CPA firms and their clients. DTLACPA remains the licensed accounting firm responsible for the accounting and tax services offered through this website.
